1. Accept Jesus Christ

As Christians we have many concerns that occupy our every waking moment. These worldly cares are indeed legitimate. Our families must be fed, housed, clothed, and where feasible, their futures maintained. The scriptures are very specific about our priorities in life. We are to "Seek first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness; and all these things (worldly needs) shall be added unto you" (Matthew 6:33).

When we accept Jesus as both our Lord and Savior, he provides our needs.

2. Baptism

The ordinances of baptism and communion are significant acts that are at the center of the church's expression of faith in the Lord Jesus Christ to understand that baptism reflects the meaning of the Gospel because it involves relationships with both Jesus Christ and with fellow believers in the local church.
